So I continue to be unhappy with the general appearance of the website, but I think I may have finally cracked it – this is a new WordPress template that I actually quite like.

I’ve come up with a logo and a format that I like. I’ve put the stories on the front page so they’re the first thing you see, and I’ve kept everything else the same. The menu isn’t necessarily to my total liking but it’s still relatively simple, and it’s got a separate social media menu which is great. It looks cleaner, and a bit more professional. And the shop page still works.

I’m not a professional web designer, or a graphic artist, so I’m sure there are people who can do both better than I can. But I have no money, and just need a smart web presence. Hopefully this cuts the mustard, so to speak.

If you have an opinion, do let me know in the comments below. It’d be great to hear what you think! And yes, I do have plans to write a LOT more content on here.

Also – in terms of social media, I am spending more and more time on ‘BlueSky’ – you can find me there using the link on the social media menu, or search for @chrisatyeart.co.uk on that site. Yes, it allows you to use you website domain name as a username, which is great for verification.
